What is WANDERaround about?
From an early age, Martyna has always had a great love for the natural world. Growing up in the southern mountains of Poland, she was surrounded by all manner of plants and animals. From this, nature has become a strong theme throughout her work. She has the wonderful ability to take any unused materials and recycle them with the attributes of delicate objects such as light and colourful necklaces, dainty paper bracelets or the stylish blur of late 80s fashion.
She designs playful, minimalist and nature-friendly jewellery handmade in her London studio by the River Lee. Inspired by beauty around, colours, materials and places, all her products are made individually and bespoke. She loves mixing patterns and finding weird connections. Once finished making a piece of jewellery, Martyna will wear them as a test to see if people notice and like the style – only then will she prepare more for market.
